Inter school competitions

 

Girls Tag Rugby

Early on in this half term we took a group of eight girls from years 5 and 6 to Dartfordians rugby club for a rugby festival. The festival was set out as a non competitive round robin, where our team of girls would play tag rugby against other schools. For the two hours we were there our team made great progress with there ability to play rugby. 

 

Football

Both the boys and girls teams have been training very hard every Tuesday. With the boys getting to the semi finals in the Stuart Turpin cup and the girls winning there friendly fixture 3-1.

 

Year 5 Sports Day

Towards the end of this half term both our year 5 classes went to Welling secondary school for a day of sports. The classes took part in a wide variety of sports, including Cricket, Dodgeball and Basketball, which was all run by the 6th formers of Welling School.
