Year 6 Residential - Osmington Bay '25
Traffic Update
Unfortunately, the traffic has provided further delays meaning the driver will need a break due to regulations. As a result, we will be shortly stopping at Clacket Lane services for a 40 minute break. This means we will be delayed further and our arrival time is looking more likely to be 7.15pm.
We will update you again after we depart Clacket Lane.
HOME TIME!
Update at 4.30pm - the delights of Friday traffic are upon us. We have been hit by some delays as traffic builds up and an accident on the M3. We are currently navigating a diversion and have an updated ETA of 5.50pm. We hope to see you then.
Update at 3:15pm - The children will now be due back at school at 5:30pm, all updates will now be on the blog only.
The Year 6's have now left PGL and have an estimated time of arrival back to school of 5:15pm. We will keep you updated of any traffic they may encounter along the way.
We have reached the final day!
The children are busy packing and stripping their beds before another busy morning. The children have had a big breakfast to prepare them for climbing and orienteering.
After that, we will enjoy our final meal before boarding the coach for our return journey.
See you all very soon!
One Final Song

Good morning from everyone here in Sunny Dorset!
The children all slept extremely well and there is much more of a buzz amongst them this morning as their batteries are fully recharged. We have another fun-filled day of trapeze/abseiling and a beach walk in the morning followed by vertical challenge and disc golf in the afternoon.
Plenty of sunshine to enjoy once again (with slightly lower temperatures thankfully) and one last full day of laughs, smiles and memories before we see you all tomorrow.
Good morning all! The children woke up somewhat tired after a full on day, but are now fully fuelled after breakfast. This morning, the children will be participating in either abseiling or trapeze and rifle shooting before a big lunch to get them ready for a raft building competition this afternoon.
We will be sure to keep you updated throughout the day with plenty of photos as we enjoy plenty more sunshine on the Dorset coast.
All settled well last night and all woke up ready for breakfast to prepare us for the day ahead. After a short bus journey down to the harbour, we put on our water gear ready for dragon boating.
Update : Year 6 have arrived safely at PGL and are ready to start their first activity.
Good Afternoon,
We are making good progress despite a couple of sticky spots on the motorway. Children are refuelled and raring to go as soon as we arrive, with Jacobs Ladder and Archery lined up.
We will update you once we have safely arrived.
