Athletics

This half term we have been running an Athletics club with a range of activities including long jump, 100 metre sprint, high jump, soft javelin, relays, discus and shot put. It has been a lot of fun and was good to prepare for the Level 2 competition. We competed against other schools at Hurstmere Academy. Although we did not win the competition we enjoyed taking part and challenging ourselves

 

 

 

Intra school competitions

 

Lunchtime clubs

This half term we have started two new lunchtime clubs. We have ran a Hockey club for years 5+6 and a football club for years 3+4. In both of these clubs we have been running a tournament, which involves the children competing against each other in a league table. For the football club, Team 5 won the league with 15pts and for the hockey club, the Blue team won with 12pts.
